About Furaha Hospital
Furaha Hospital is located in Bunju Beach area, in Dar es Salaam. The hospital is a privately owned business, initially registered in 1995 as a private clinic, and later in 2001, incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap. 212) as a private limited liability company – Furaha Medical Consultation Services Limited. Our new facility in Bunju was officially opened in December 2020 and operates under the name FURAHA HOSPITAL. The hospital is jointly owned by a team of specialized medical doctors.
Furaha Hospital is a multi-disciplinary hospital, providing private healthcare and medical services, with a major focus on Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopedics, Physiotherapy, Urology, Nephrology, General Surgery and Cardiology. The hospital has an inpatient capacity of Seventy (70) beds, and offers private luxury suites, providing an exclusive option for patients from far or patients requiring a spouse or family member to lodge with them.

Our hospital is well equipped with modern physical security facilities to ensure that the patients and their visitors feel safe and secure.
We have installed CCTV cameras, smoke detectors (in case of fires, fire hydrants and fire extinguishers). We also have an automatic standby generator to ensure constant power supply. Our water supply of clean water is adequate and the patients are ensured of hygienic health services.
